If your favorite part of the pandemic has been wearing masks because they allow you to hide your smile, now is the perfect time to change that. Your smile can be beautiful, and the world has been waiting for it! After all, in a world without masks, your smile matters.

Maybe you’re meeting your significant other’s family for the first time, going on a job interview, seeing an old friend after a long absence, or just welcoming home your spouse or child. Every one of these simple encounters is made better with a smile. Make it a smile you’re proud to share and feel confident in.

Missing or Bad Teeth

Missing or damaged teeth are nothing to be ashamed of. An estimated 20% of adults over the age of 65 have lost all of their teeth. Many more have at least some missing, broken, or decaying teeth. Age is not the only factor. Genetics, lack of dental understanding in youth, and sports can all contribute to missing or bad teeth among younger populations. Whatever your age, whatever the reason for the missing teeth, you deserve to have your smile radiate confidence and beauty.

What are Dental Implants?

A dental implant is a small artificial root (like a natural tooth would have) that is surgically inserted into the jawbone and allowed to heal and bond to the surrounding bone. Once the implant heals, a support post is attached and the replacement crown is put on the support post. Your oral surgeon  will coordinate and work with your regular (restorative) dentist, who will make and fit your permanent prosthesis, as well as any temporary crown needed during the implant process.

Why Choose Dental Implants?

There are certainly a lot of options when it comes to replacing missing or extracted teeth. Dentures, partials, and bridges are commonly used replacements. Dental implants  offer so much that these other options cannot.

Dentures and partials can slip or become uncomfortable as the jawbone structure degrades. Bridges may require sacrificing the structure of the good teeth around the missing teeth.

Dental implants, on the other hand, can help prevent the jawbone from deteriorating. Because they are a permanent solution, they won’t slip or fall out. They’re easy to eat with and will provide comfort and confidence.

No one looks forward to going to the dentist and especially getting a tooth pulled. When I found out my insurance wouldn’t pay for me to be put out Dr. Coyne and her staff made this experience the best it could possibly be. Dr. Coyne’s nurse talked me through the process and eased my anxiety, and encouraged me that I could do it with just the Nitrous Oxygen and she would be right there to talk me through everything. She was very kind and compassionate, because I was very nervous about it. This saved me a lot of money out of pocket, I mean A LOT of money. I’m so glad she encouraged me because the whole procedure only lasted a few minutes and I didn’t feel any pain, plus I saved a ton of money because of her encouragement and I probably wouldn’t have even tried to do it without her encouraging me to. Dr. Coyne did a wonderful job and my recovery was very easy as well. Afterwards, they called to check in on me. You can tell they care about their patients at this practice. It was also easy to get an appointment and the office was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend them if you have any extractions or oral surgeries you need.

Had my wisdom teeth extracted with Dr. Coyne around a year ago today. They were impacted and she did a great job. My husband is now getting his extracted this week from her as well, and I know he and others will be in good hands if they choose her and her team. Her surgical assistant is top tier, talked with me prior to sedation due to my fears and severe dental anxiety. They were patient and so kind to me, you don’t find many places that treat and care for you more than just a patient in their office. 🦷 💜 Even after the procedure I asked for a picture with Dr. Coyne 🙂

Dr. Coyne and her staff are amazing. Took exceptional care of my daughter for her wisdom teeth. They explained everything from what to expect during and after and put her at ease for the procedure. Highly recommend Coyne Oral Surgery.

Everything was over the top.. from the interior decor to the smiles from the staff. I had a tooth extraction. It took no time. The assistant as well as the entire staff was super nice and comforting. I would definitely recommend Coyne Oral Surgery.

I went in for a cracked tooth extraction and implant. While waiting for that procedure, the staff reviewed my x-rays and recommended taking the wisdom teeth and doing another implant for a tooth extraction from about 5 years back. My wisdom teeth were causing crowding and they guided me to an excellent decision. Since I was there already and was going to be sedated anyway, why not remedy the wisdom teeth issue and do both implants. I didn't feel pressured in any way. It was a great suggestion and I have absolutely no regrets. It was a lot of work in one sitting, but these folks are elite. I'm twelve days post procedure at the time I'm writing this and recovery is going just fine. I highly recommend Coyne.
